It will not be possible to pick up your race bib on the morning of the Marathon or at any other time outside the designated location and hours.
It is essential to respect the race bib pickup schedule.
When you pick up your race bib, a wristband will be placed on your wrist. You must wear it to access the start corral and keep it on until you leave the finish area after the race.
A damaged wristband may result in being denied access to the start area.
To help ensure a smooth race bib pickup process, please make sure to have your bib number ready upon arrival.
Place your bib clearly visible on the front of your shirt.
Do not cover it under any circumstances, not even with a hydration vest.
Here’s how to properly position your bib (see photo)..
Buses depart as soon as they are full.
Only runners wearing a MARATHON bib marked “AUTOBUS” will be allowed to board.
Runners are responsible for arriving on time for their bus, based on their scheduled departure.
Please make sure not to leave anything on the bus.
No bus will return runners to the start line after the race.
Several parking options are available near the train station:
Runners can be dropped off at the Saint-Jérôme Intermodal Station (280 Latour Street, Saint-Jérôme) to board their bus.
Signage will clearly indicate the way to the buses
Runners will be dropped off at PLACE DU MARCHÉ in Val-David, in the heart of the village, just steps from the start area.
If you choose to come to Val-David by car, please note that parking spaces are limited. The village center will be closed to traffic and parking on the streets of Val-David will be prohibited.
Parking areas have been arranged on the outskirts specifically for runners. They are located about 200 meters from the start site, which will allow you to access the start area on foot.
You may leave clothing at the bag drop areas at the Marathon start sites..
All bags not claimed by 4:00 p.m. on race day will be donated to community or charitable organizations.
There are 36 toilets in the starting area, Léonidas Dufresne Park.
There are 8 toilets right next to the bag drop-off.
The start site is located in Parc Léonidas-Dufresne, in the heart of the village of Val-David.
Be alert so you don’t miss your start! You must report to the start corral as soon as your start number is called.
You must be wearing your bib to access the start corral.
You will also need to show your participant wristband to enter the corral.
If a runner presents a damaged wristband, verification will be required. The runner will have to confirm his identity.
Delays could result in missing the start.
If verification is inconclusive, the runner will not be allowed to access the corral or start the race. His bib number will be removed from the participant list.
The maximum time to complete the marathon is 5 hours and 30 minutes.
Checkpoints at 21.5 km and 32.2 km
Runners must maintain a minimum pace of 7 minutes 50 seconds per kilometer at the checkpoints.
Runners who arrive at the checkpoints below this pace will no longer be considered part of the race and will not be allowed to finish.
A bus will transport them to the finish line.
All clothing left at the start site or along the course will be collected and donated to charitable organizations.
Your start # was assigned based on the goal time you indicated when registering.
Your start # is printed on your bib, which you will receive at bib pick up.
You cannot switch to an earlier start, but you may choose a later one if you prefer.

Our team is committed to making your experience both successful and safe.
Medical personnel are stationed all along the course and ready to assist—whether it’s a minor incident or a life-threatening emergency.
Easily identifiable by their orange clothing, these professionals are fully trained to provide fast and effective assistance.
Motorized evacuation vehicles, adapted to the unique features of the P’tit Train du Nord Linear Park, are also in place.
Each responder is equipped with an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) to provide immediate care if needed.
If needed, please contact the Marathon Medical emergency number at (438) 529-5885. Qualified personnel will answer your call and provide all necessary support.
This number is also printed on the back of your bib.
If you experience a medical issue during the Marathon and decide to leave the course on your own, please report to the medical tent at the finish line if you require further assistance.
full medical team will be on site and able to meet most of your needs. This will help you avoid long waits at the hospital and allow hospital staff to focus on critical cases in the regional population.
Trophies will be awarded to the overall Marathon winners: the top three men and top three women.
The order in which the first three cross the finish line will determine the overall ranking. Trophies are awarded after the race.
Top three men and top three women by age group:
18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49
50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79
Age is calculated as of December 31.
Plaques will be mailed in the weeks following the event.
Chip time (official time measured by the electronic chip) will determine the top three finishers in each age group.
The race will be timed by Sportstats.
Your friends and family will be able to follow your performance in real time via the Sportstats app.
Results will be available on the Sportstats website.
