Runners who meet the standards and who are already registered cannot received a refund.

Must be a Canadian resident
Must be 18 years or older on race day
Must run faster than the qualifying standards listed
The submitted time must have been achieved within the 24 months preceding the Marathon P’tit Train du Nord
The performance submitted must have been achieved at an official race sanctioned by a federation, and the distance must be certified
The qualifying time must correspond to the distance for which you are applying
Qualifying times for free registration
Athletes who meet the following times may receive a free registration to the Marathon P’tit Train du Nord:
Marathon
Men: 2:34:59
Women: 2:59:59
Half-Marathon
Men: 1:14:59
Women: 1:25:59
Podiums
Two separate podiums will be presented:
Open Podium: for the top three men and top three women to cross the finish line
Canadian Podium: for the top three Canadian men and women to cross the finish line
Prizes
Open Podium (Marathon only)
1st place: $1,000 (men & women)
2nd place: $500 (men & women)
3rd place: $250 (men & women)
Canadian Podium (Marathon only)
1st place: $500 (men & women)
2nd place: $250 (men & women)
3rd place: $100 (men & women)
To be eligible, the runner must be a Canadian citizen.

In 1984, Alain Bordeleau – co-founder of the Marathon P’tit Train du Nord – set a Québec record of 2:14:19.
Québec Challenge
The first Québec runner to break the Québec best performance (2:14:19) at the Marathon P’tit Train du Nord will earn an exceptional prize of $5,000*.
To claim the prize:
The runner must be a Canadian citizen
Must have been affiliated with Athlétisme Québec for 3 consecutive years
Must hold a Québec Health Insurance Card (RAMQ)
