The Marathon P’tit Train du Nord course is the fastest course in America because it is run almost exclusively downhill. No other course offers so many advantages. A linear course in the middle of nature, lots of oxygen and a very progressive 220-metre drop.

Your registration is non-refundable. The Marathon P’tit Train du Nord is pleased to offer participants optional Refund registration service, which can be purchased for an additional fee upon registration. See section « Refund Registration Service » for conditions.
In the event that the race should be cancelled or held in an adapted or alternative way, including a virtual race for reasons beyond the control of the organizing committee such as the weather or a pandemic situation including Covid-19 and / or any other case of force majeure, no refund will be possible.
It is now possible to subscribe to a registration refund service.
This service does not include reimbursement in the event of cancellation of the event.

At bib pickup, a wristband will be attached to your wrist by one of our volunteers. You will have to wear this wristband until you leave the finish area after your race. This wristband is your pass for the bus and also to the start area. You must wear your wristband to access the start line.
If your wristband is damaged, you may be denied access to the bus and to the start.
It is no longer possible to change distances. Marathon and half-marathon are full.
Race distance change is possible depending on the number of places available. Changing to an event that is already sold out is not possible.
Fee applies even if changing to a shorter distance. If you change for a shorter distance, there is no refund for the price difference.
Any race distance change must be completed on-line by the registrant. You will need your registration code. See your confirmation email.
It is possible to defer your 2021 registration to 2022. The deferral is possible for one year only and for the same distance you are registered. Once your deferral is made, it will no longer be possible to go back to the previous year.
The deadline for race distance change is September 01. The P’tit Train du Nord Marathon organization allows a limited number of deferral each year. When the number of deferral fixed by the organization is reached, it is no longer possible for another participant to defer his registration. There will be no notification on the number of deferral available.

The deferral is done online. Go to the REGISTRATION page. At the bottom of the page find “Already registered?” Click on the button “Change to your registration”. Then click on the blue REGISTRATION DEFERRAL button and follow the instructions.

It is highly recommended to buy your bus ticket from Saint-Jérôme to the start area at the time of your registration.
However, it will be possible to buy later. Go to the REGISTRATION page. At the bottom of the page find “Already registered?” Click on the button “Change to your registration”. It is forbidden to give, resell or allow anyone else to run under your name with your bib. If a person is caught running with a bib that does not belong to her/him, this person and the owner of the bib will be banned from the Marathon P’tit Train du Nord.
Things to know before registering
- Prices do not include processing fees and taxes.
- Registration fees are not refundable.
- It is possible to subscribe to a registration refund service
- You can only pick up your bib at place and times indicated on the Race Weekend page.
- You must showup in person to collect your bib.
- It will not be possible to pick up your bib on the morning of the race.
- A wristband will be attached to your wrist, at bib pickup.
- Changing to an event that is already sold out is not possible.
- Differing your registration to another year is limited and not guaranteed.
- The time limit to complete the half marathon is 2h45.
- The time limit to complete the marathon is 5h30.
- A runner who arrives at a checkpoint, beyond the time limit, cannot finish the race.
- Giving, transferring or selling your bib to another person is forbidden.
- You must be 18 years old or older on the day of the race.
- Each participant must register himself.
- Strollers and bike followers are not allowed on the course.
If the event cannot be held in the traditional way for reasons beyond the control of the organizing committee, the event will be held in an adapted or alternative way, including the possibility of a virtual race.
