Registration

December 2025: Registration opens – don’t miss your spot!

The Marathon P’tit Train du Nord course is the fastest course in America because it is run almost exclusively downhill. No other course offers so many advantages. A linear course in the middle of nature, lots of oxygen and a very progressive 220-metre drop.

The number of participants is limited

Half-Marathon : Saturday, October 3, 2026

Registration for the Marathon P’tit Train du Nord is non-refundable.
However, participants have the option to add an optional refund service at the time of registration for a small additional fee.

Please refer to the “Registration Refund Service” section for full details and conditions.

Cancellation

If the event cannot take place in its traditional format for reasons beyond the control of the organizing committee, it will be presented in an adapted or alternative form, including the possibility of a virtual race.

In the event of force majeure (e.g., extreme weather conditions or any other situation compromising participant safety), the event may be interrupted.

No refunds will be issued.

Refund Registration Service

  1. You may add a Registration Refund Service at the time of your registration (this option is only available at that moment).
This service does not cover refunds in the event of a race cancellation.

By subscribing, you protect your registration and may receive a 100% refund if you are unable to participate for one of the many reasons outlined in the Terms and Conditions. Please make sure to read them carefully before selecting this service.

All claims must be made directly with our provider. The request is submitted online using the link included in your registration confirmation email.
If you need to retrieve this email, please follow the instructions provided below.

Participant’s Wristband

When picking up your race bib, a volunteer will place a wristband on your wrist.
This wristband is mandatory:

  • It serves as your pass to access the start area.

  • You must keep it on at all times until you exit the finish area after your race.

  • A damaged or removed wristband may result in being denied access to the start area.

Race distance change

Distance changes are only possible depending on availability. Since spots are very limited, switching to a sold-out event is not possible.

Fee: $25.00
This fee applies even when switching to a shorter distance.
No refund of the price difference will be granted if you move to a shorter distance.

Procedure
All distance changes must be made online. You will need your registration code (see your registration confirmation email).

Registration deferral

You may defer your registration to the following year, for the same distance only.
Once the deferral is confirmed, it is no longer possible to return to the previous year.

Deferral fee: $60.00
The deferral is valid for one year only.
A limited number of deferrals are accepted each year. Once the maximum is reached, no further deferrals will be possible. No notice will be issued regarding the number of remaining spots.

Online procedure:

  1. Go to the REGISTRATION page.

  2. At the bottom right, click on “Already registered”.

  3. Retrieve your registration code.

  4. Select “Defer to another year”.

Transfers & Switching

The transfer or sale of race bibs is strictly prohibited.

Anyone running with a bib that was not officially assigned to them will be disqualified.
Bibs are non-transferable and must be picked up only by the registered participant.
Running under another person’s name or with another runner’s bib will result in automatic disqualification.

Thank you for respecting this rule to ensure fairness and safety for all participants.

Target Time Change

You may update the target time you indicated when registering.

Deadline: August 15
No changes will be possible after this date.
